85th Anniversary of the Last American Train Robbery in the West

This morning a group of about 20 people took the short drive from Ashland, Oregon up to the Siskiyou Summit to see leave a wreath and have a memorial ceremony at the location of the Last American Train Robbery in the West. Four Southern Pacific trainmen were ruthlessly murdered on this day 85 years ago. The robbers blew up the mail car inside the tunnel but after killing the four, they walked away with nothing.
