Ashland is home to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, which brings visitors from all over the world. Southern Oregon University is in Ashland and nearby you'll find Emigrant Lake, Mt. Ashland Ski Area, and the Wild and Scenic Rogue River.
Ashland's a quiet little town - some say like a European mountain village. It's not surprising to see groups of 3-5 deer walking through your neighborhood - or your backyard.
